Name: Falas Silverblade (Sindarélle)
Background: Young by the standards of her race, Falas' long life has spanned too many decades to count. She spent her days learning the paths of the wild around her Elven home of Teldrassil, in the company of those she loved and trusted, sheltered as ever from the influence of other races, both good and bad. She had always known of her natural affinity with animals and beasts of all kinds, and was often spotted weaving throughout the trees with a companion at her heels, always off playing with the inhabitants of the forests and hills. Excitable and energetic, she occasionally managed to slow down enough to indulge in the company of other Elves, though invariably they included Eledain, an older Elf who seemed to tolerate her eccentric behaviour. As with so many of Falas' age, her parents had been lost in the Great Battle of Mount Hyjal, and the adults raised the orphans in Aldrassil on Teldassril, an island far apart from Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdom.
As the years wore on, however, visitors from these far lands began to travel to Teldrassil, for reasons largely unknown. A priest from Stormwind ventured to Aldrassil, and had the misfortune to meet Falas. Misfortune indeed, as Falas had long forgotten the faces of those in the Alliance that were not her kindred, and had attempted to command a nearby spider into attacking the traveller. Luckily for the man, this failed, and he quickly explained to her as he faced a very sharp arrow, that he was travelling to seek out those Night Elves eager to venture into the world and aid the Alliance with their cause. His tales of danger and adrenaline kept Falas fascinated for hours, and soon the pair spent day after day in each other's company, comparing their cultures and sharing their knowledge with one another.
The young human, whose name was Alexander Marduk, found the youthful Elf to be a wonderful audience. The appreciation both held for one another soon grew into something deeper, and though this was understood by both parties, nothing ever came of it. One day, Falas awoke to find that Alex had left, without so much as a word to anyone. It was then that she ventured to Dolanaar, and later Darnassus, in an effort to track down those that she loved - her friend, Eledain, who was making his way in the world, and the man that she had loved, who had abandoned her. She suspected that Alexander had left for a most practical reason; to let Falas find a love amongst her kin. As the days passed and the young Elf found her way in Kalimdor, she thought constantly of Alex, until her love grew into hatred for his betrayal, no matter how well-intended it had been.
It was as she was staying in Auberdine, a small town in northern Darkshore, that the huntress met Gehenna, a fellow Elf with a very odd personality. The two spent a great deal of time exploring their surroundings together, and their friendship became something more than just friendship. Before long, Gehenna had proposed to Falas, and she accepted, barely taking time to consider the proposition. However, her skills as a huntress far outmatched Gehenna's skills as a hunter, and as her thirst to see more of the world grew, she found herself feeling caged in by Darkshore. She began venturing further south, into Ashenvale, and her first encounter with the enemies of the Alliance - the Horde. It was a fight that Falas barely survived, and despite her fear, her natural curiosity and inquisitive nature drove her to Astranaar, so that she could spend more time in the dangerous area. Time, that is, that she spent in solitude. Though she cared deeply for Gehenna, she came to the decision that she did not care to settle down. The world that was opening up for Falas was full of wonder, danger, and excitement, and it was a world that Gehenna was not prepared for.
Thusly, she set out on her own, taking a ship to Menethil Harbour.
Menethil Harbour was a welcoming, bustling little town. Falas marvelled at the culture of the humans living there, but before long, they had begun to annoy her greatly. The appearance of a Night Elf caused unpleasant comment - of the kind invariably given to the now older, wiser Falas, when in Stormwind City - such as "flappy", and the ever irritating "elfie". An arrogance that the Elf had never possessed soon began to grow. Who did these short, decaying humans think they were, to address a Night Elf as such? Her hatred of Alexander had grown exponentially to label all humans as betraying scoundrels; a view encouraged by the leader of her new guild, The Shining Star. It was led by Ele, an Elf Falas knew during her childhood, though had never had much faith in as a leader. Eledain, an Elf now feared amongst the Horde for his strength and skill, stood as second in command. The Shining Star, though welcoming to all races theoretically, helped fashion Falas' opinions about other raes. Namely, the humans.
The days spent in Menethil were filled with fishing, to catch food for both herself, and her companion. Her nightsabre feline had stuck with her since the long journey from Teldrassil; a cat called Ducky. To hear the name "Ducky" fall from the lips of a normally eloquent Night Elf astounded many humans, leading - of course - to more insults. The cat was, however, named after Alexander Marduk, though naturally Falas explained this to no one. At any rate, the Elf felt both she and her companion had outstayed their welcome in the human town, and ventured on through the Wetlands, to meet a race so wonderful and intriguing that the slightly arrogant huntress almost felt that she had been born into the wrong race.
Dwarves. They were fascinating. From the tip of their beard to the pint in their hand, their simple culture and lack of ideology had Falas enraptured. She spent many seasons in their city of Ironforge, learning to live like a Dwarf and to understand their ways. As with all the destinations she had stayed in, the Elf worked for whomever needed help, not simply to aid those in need, but to earn some gold for her continued survival. Her quest to find armor to guard herself in the wild began, and for a while, Falas spent more time in open land than she did in Ironforge, a place that was fast becoming her home. It was this hunger for superior protection that brought her to Stormwind City, the home of the likely deceased Alexander, a human city ruled by a human king.
Falas loathed the place. It was bustling, but not with the good cheer and excitement of the Dwarves. It was architecturally magnicifent, but not with the subterranean beauty of Ironforge, nor the natural wonder of Darnassus. And everywhere Falas looked, the hated humans appeared before her, arrogant in their short lives with shorter memories, ignorant in their use of magics that drew upon the Nether. Without exception, she was either ignored, or ridiculed by their race, and soon sought out Elves and Dwarves alike for their company. That was when a band of those who silently hated the humans formed, seeking to enter the Deadmines, for the reward of gold and the satisfaction of accomplishing what others had not.
However, as the huntress prepared herself for battle with Eledain, a fellow Elf contacted her with a question. He enquired as to the wellbeing and atmosphere of The Shining Star, and offered her a place in a guild led by a human. Naturally, Falas scoffed at the idea, but further consultation with the Night Elf began to confuse her. "Our leader is honourable, and I would follow him into Onyxia's lair if he led me there," said the Elven priest. How one of her kindred could be so trusting and place such faith in a human, Falas didn't know. However, a meeting between herself, Eledain, and Gehere the priest was arranged.
The leader of The Shining Star was disgusted at the very idea. Eledain, however, was willing to listen to what the representative of Inquisitors of Lordaeron had to say. This was in no small part due to Falas' curiosity; she coaxed him into hearing the Inquisitors' piece with an open mind. When Ladeos, the Lawbringer himself, appeared to meet the pair of skeptical Elves, disaster nearly struck. His attitude toward the Inquisitors that accompanied him sickened Eledain, who had never issued such cold, detached orders himself, and the human's attitude toward the two managed to grate upon Falas' nerves. For the members of The Shining Star, to hear a human speak with such undisguised superiority was ludicrous, the embodiment of everything they hated about the human race.
Still, though, Gehere preached wise words to Eledain, and Falas kept silent counsel, hearing everything but saying little. Her curiosity about the Inquisitors was strong, and she wished to help them in their struggle, but just like Gehere, she would follow her leader into the pit of the dragon if he asked her to. Eledain discussed the matter with Falas, and they agreed to leave The Shining Star and help the Inquisitors, despite their misgivings.
Goal: To serve the King of Stormwind's will (whether she likes it or not) and help her comrades free Lordaeron of the Scourge. Her more materialistic goal however, is to buy a house in Ironforge, or the Dwarven District of Stormwind, and become a master engineer.
Appearance: For an Elf, Falas is of average height, if an inch or two shorter than normal. She is lean, with strong muscles that can be seen when she strains, or uses her weapons. Her skin is a strange, silvery purple hue, and her facial markings distinguish her as a young Elf from Teldrassil. Her eyes are wide, with an open and rather misleading gaze of defenselessness, glowing a strong, shining silver. Of scars, she has merely one, and it is not always noticed despite its location; a thin, if slightly jagged, scar runs from just above her right eyebrow down to her right cheekbone, a souvenir from her first encounter with the Horde. Her mouth is a natural pout, though is often slightly open with wonder, and her sharp-featured face is alight with curiosity. Hair the same colour as her eyes (though without the ethereal glow, obviously) cascades to her waist, and tends to look after itself. She spends no time whatsoever thinking about her appearance.
When seen in the wilds - or, in fact, anywhere outside of a city - Falas wears mismatched leather armor, wearing the best that she can scavenge, make, and buy, without a care for anything so impractical as style. However, when staying in Stormwind or Ironforge (as opposed to passing through on business, in which case she does not change from her armor) she wears robes of a plain, off-white shade, with green accents, chosen for comfort rather than glamour. In her bank resides a parcel from a certain Gehere, containing a shimmering white dress tailormade for the Elf, though she has yet to find time to even try it on, let alone wear it for any length of time.

(( We-ell, I've RPed on forums before, but this is so very different. I know I messed up badly with the Lore; I'm working on getting it covered, but I never claimed to be an expert. I... Yeah. So, that's her story. I might do a couple of RP stories after this, but - well, we'll see. *Scrutinizes all of the above* It is all subject to change, not least because I need Ele and Gehenna's verdict on it xD ))
