How about Team Speak?

We had conversation considering team speak, and we buried the idea because noone really didint want someone to hear their voices. And since this is RP guild we would like to keep it that way. Hearing someones voice that you dont really like may have bad effects to how you react to that guy in RP.

I have no concerns about team-speak. I've been using it in plenty of games. It makes a difference in alot of games, and i can imagine that goes for wow too.
"Hearing someones voice that you dont really like may have bad effects to how you react to that guy in RP"
No offence, but thats just the most immature argument for not using it :-)

Trust me.. we need voice communication.
Without it .. we'll be wasting effort and energy.
To cut it short - it will be impossible to get anywhere "real" without some sort of verbal communication.
Yes - things CAN be done without - but that is besides the point. No REAL guild with respect for themselves, raid without voice communication. What are you afraid of? Bad english. You'll learn.
"Gehere imagines an Onyxia attempt without Voice Communication." /lol

If you wanna do end-game without voice communication, we need a decent team-work which aint achieved so easily, it needs alot of 5-10man raids and BG's so everybody could know what to do. And idori i presume that you done MC with people who knew what to do.

Hear, hear.
Daeglin, im sure it will be a bit ackward the first coupple of times, revealing your voice is actually a very personal thing. But your not amongst a bunch of 12 years. I really cant imagine no-one here acting negative towards you because of your "eastern europe" accent. Im from Denmark - i dont speak flawless english. but i'll do my best :-)
(I've been in one of Europes best 2on2 CS knife clans - so i've been raised with Ventrilo)

TS/Vent is always a good idea. just aslong as there are clear defined rules to using it. ie you dont just spam out satin ''OMG I GOTZ AGGROH'' its much easier to set out an easy to follow plan, and correct said plan IF anything should go wrong ie DC's, unexpected afk's (DC's being the main fear, had a MT DC before in MC 'cos his brother fell over the cable. thankfully we pulled thru with only a few extra deaths than expected. ) If your worried about your speach/accent/grammer/age. dont be. i played in a european DoD/CS clan for most of my school exam period (in heinsight a BAD idea ) and 85% of them couldnt understand me very well to begin with. but by the end of the first few weeks of practice's and matches we worked very well together. its all about doing it. if you dont do it you CANNOT get better. we will all adjust to being able to hear you, or we will take an extra 20ish min on every stage of an instance im typing ;-) im easy either way, but i know where i'd go (where did i put that headset.... >.< ) Allisara

I have never myself been in an end game instance but i heard from a friend that it is well.. unheard of not to use a voice communication program. I have no problem with it as long as there is some discipline and we dont hear oom or heal me etcetera every 2 secs
